“We were only there for one night but the room was clean, the air condition worked well and the shower had plenty of hot water. In all, it was a great place to use as our home base as we did various tours in the area. We would stay there again without hesitation. Walking distance to town, restaurants etc.....and the breakfast was good. We definitely got good value here.”

“Mountain Faro is a simple, clean, and well-located property, with a good breakfast included. Yes it is up a hill, but you are in Monte Verde and everything is up or down a hill. The staff, led by Lady, are lovely, welcoming, and so helpful - including recommending restaurants, helping to arrange tours, and arranging transport as needed (for tours, or if you just don't want to walk the hills). I highly recommend it.”

“Het dagelijkse heerlijke ontbijt en de zeer gastvriendelijke moeder (Spaans sprekend) en dochter (ook Engels sprekend) en de prima lokatie t.o.v. alles wat in de omgeving van Monte Verde te beleven is. Minder was de enorm harde wind op deze heuveltop, maar daar slaap je dan wel weer lekker van…en het uitzicht op het veldje vlakbij bij zonsondergang is onvergetelijk mooi.”
