Very crowded
Tourist trap on steroids
Roadworks make it very hard to cross the road where you need to.
Everything you could possibly need or want on one street!
Even with the exchange rate at .71 US to the NZ dollar, it is really expensive in New Zealand. Most of the economy is based on tourism, and although the prices are high, quality is not always there. You can leave with a small fortune, but only if you go with a LARGE fortune.
