“Fantastic stay as usual. First room not suitable as had bath but Anna in reception changed immediately. Excellent service from Adele in reception and bar. All staff friendly and helpful and room large and comfortable. There have been some renovation going on and looking really good. Only minus was the new set up on breakfast room as not much space between hit drinks machines and rest of continental buffet so when busy was cramped but quality of food was excellent. Highly recommend hotel.”

Comfortable room, hot showers, nice big bed, delicious breakfast - try the whiskey porridge! We ate all our lunches and diners at The Auld Smiddy Inn and wish we couldn’t stayed longer!”

“Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells.”
