“Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming”

“Great location, ideal for parking. Room was adequate and bathroom was more modern than room. Breakfast was very good….. self service buffet. No issues. Thank you”

“The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.”

“There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”

“We enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff are excellent. The breakfasts are large and very good. Porridge with whiskey and cream was amazing. They also have a few alcoholic drinks to purchase which was an added bonus.”

“Excellent stay at Moness. I had the executive room (twin room) with my daughter. The room was clean, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. Made good use of the swimming pool which was nice and warm. The restaurant was great - with all of the staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Can't wait to be back.”

“The room was lovely, clean and had a very comfortable bed. Wifi was not working. The sink was blocked. No heating was working in the room. The phone was not working to call reception about problems. Overpriced for what we received. I was planning to book a couple of weeks later in the year for work, but without wifi I wouldn't be able to. The response I received was that it's a big place to provide wifi for every room. I've stayed in better hotels for less cost.”

“The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry! Since it was a one-night stay and rainy we weren’t able to enjoy all of the property, but the rooms were spacious and modern, the restaurant featured excellent food and service, and the front desk staff was……

“Very welcoming staff, lovely setting and food”

“No issues with this amazing place, host so helpful and available anytime, couldn't fault it in anyway, would recommend 100%”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and delicious . The room was spotless, bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.”
