“We really enjoyed our stay. Paul and his wife, the owners were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We had a great dinner and breakfast. Beautiful views of Loch Tummel!”
“Wij kwamen aan op zondag om 18.00 en hadden de pech dat de receptie al was gesloten. Maar even een berichtje via de chat naar de eigenaar en daar kregen we de code van het sleutelkastje. Top kamer erg schoon en ook de badkamer was perfect.”
“The receptionist had an accent which impaired her ability to provide information. Consequently we could not find our room.
I went to the bar for a nightcap. It was nearly empty. I was served my drink in a dirty glass. There was no ice left in the bucket. The member of staff showed no intention of going for more ice. It was a poor end to the day”
“The entire experience was great. The hosts were amazing; organized, dry humor, and incredibly kind. The rooms were very nice; spacious, clean, and unique all in their own way. Breakfast was delicious - traditional Scottish breakfast. I would highly recommend coming here. I would warn, however, not to try to park a very large vehicle there. That definitely posed a challenge. But I would come back here in a heartbeat given the opportunity.”

There is direct access from the property to walking trails and a convenient car park. Rooms vary in layout and amenities, so do your homework before booking. Our room was on a second floor without elevator and with a steep stair, which may not be suitable for elderly or folks with disabilities. The ceiling was sloped with a lot of headknockers for 6+ ft tall……
“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”
“Clean, spacious rooms with nice views. Good car parking. Generally well organised. The dog-friendly room came with dog beds and dog towels which were thoughtful/ useful additions.
For a dog-friendly hotel some aspects weren't very dog friendly eg not allowed to leave dogs in room alone but also they weren't allowed in the breakfast room either. We were therefore shown to the bar area to have our breakfast but this wasn't ideal/welcoming. Breakfast was nice with good selection.
Pool was good to……
