"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"Beautiful old cottage, amazing location with walks on the doorstep and within a short drive. Plenty of firewood and cookies and Prosecco on arrival. Low ceilings though, beware if you’re tall. "

"Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. "My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field.
