"Weekend in heaven! The cabin was spotless, cozy and comfortable. We loved exploring Luray and then relaxing in the hot tub at night. Derek was super responsive and shared all the important information with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better ladies weekend away!"

"We stayed for one night at Skyland in the Shenandoah National Park on a recent visit to Virginia. We booked a ‘Traditional Room with 2 Queen beds’. The room was lodge style with a small terrace. Check-in was easy and we were able to park outside our room. The amenities and the room are basic and ‘tired’, but as expected. The beds were comfortable but the quality of the bedding was best described as ‘old’. The room had a musty smell but appeared clean. Although there was wifi it wasn’t really usable. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was reasonably priced. The hotel, although basic and not cheap, is in a great location. We enjoyed walking the Stony Man route to watch a beautiful sunset and then hiking a few other routes to enjoy the beauty of the National Park. "

Almost everything we could have wanted was available for is in the cabin and there were a lot of thoughtful, convenient touches. Absolutely would go back and stay again."
