“This little cabin was perfect for us to catch the first weekend of this years snow storm. Bunk bed for the kids and a nice bed for the adults, with a comfy bathroom. Make sure you have chains if the snow is fresh to get into the parking lot. ”

“I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs with my family for vacation and my experience was quite disappointing. The bathtub in my room was clogged, which made it extremely difficult to take a proper bath. It ended up taking a very long time to shower, which was very frustrating. To make matters worse, my family members who stayed in a separate room also experienced similar issues with their bathtub. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected better maintenance……

“I had some concerns with booking this property because of mixed reviews. I will say that I was pleased overall with our stay. The room was clean and good sized. The bed was comfortable. All the utilities worked ok but the air conditioning did seem a bit weak at times. However a couple of problems did detract from our stay. “Bottom line -- Parker Palm Springs is a boutique resort with many attractive aspects -- room quality/comfort, restaurant quality, lovely grounds, and very pleasant staff. However for $2k/night, it falls way short.
