“Room was clean as far as we could tell. Front desk was helpful after they had completed their personal conversations both on the phone and in person with a friend (?). No hot tub. Elevator works quickly. Bathroom door would only latch if you lifted up on it as you pulled it shut and the toilet wobbled something fierce. Person stocking the breakfast was working hard but there were a lot of people there when we went so had to wait for eggs and such.Had one other issue with booking they were not……

“Our room was very clean. Everything was comfortable. The pool was warm and clean. Breakfast was very good. Tables and counters were kept clean. Pleasant and attractive place. All staff were friendly. It's a great location for me. I will be back in 2 weeks.”

“The AmericInn in Clear Lake, IA was wonderful. The lobby and rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will absolutely stay there again.”

“My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two.”
