The check-in process at this property was extremely frustrating and disorganized. We were required to download an app to check in, which didn’t work at all. After wasting time trying to get it to function, I went to check in at the front desk—only to find a long line of others having the same issue (about 6 people ahead of me and 10 behind).
Meanwhile, my husband had to wait by the parking area because the instructions said parking check-in had to be done through the app. After a 20-minute wait, we finally reached the front desk, only to be met with a condescending receptionist.
Our room wasn’t ready, and when we inquired about the warm cookies, my husband politely reached out to grab one. Instead of acknowledging him, the receptionist ignored him completely and handed them to me—despite my hands being full.
Once we finally got into the room, we noticed the couch had visible stains and dirty footprints on it, which was disappointing and unhygienic.
It may seem small, but it's the little things that make a difference in a guest’s experience. A simple act of courtesy, a clean room, or a warm welcome goes a long way—and unfortunately, that was missing here.
