"Bears Eye View was a great and unique experience that gave us our own cozy house while visiting Sequoia National Park. There is a general store almost right across the street and the house has a full kitchen with silverware and dishes, so making your own food is easy. Heat and aire is modern and keeps the place perfect temperature in hot or cold weather… and this place is only a 17 minute drive from the entrance to Sequoia national park. Really enjoyed our stay here."

We selected the Best Western in Exeter while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It’s located in a small, quite farming town. We found Restaurants were limited in town but had Lunch on day one and Dinner on day two in Three Rivers at River View (great hamburgers and chicken sandwiches). The hotel did sever a small continental breakfast you can take back to your room. Travel time to the Sequoia visitor center was appx. 1 hr and to Kings Canyon was about 1 1/2 hours.

One of the last large, budget hotels due south of the Park, before you start getting into the smaller, resort-priced places right next to the Park. The Motel 6 in nearby Porterville LOOKS cheaper--but BEWARE! The Motel 6 hides a $50 "administrative fee" in addition to the price advertised on Hotels.com. So I'd rather stay at a place that just tells me how much its rooms costs, like Super 8 did, than a place...

Wonderful experience! We had a very very bad experience somewhere else, but this place made up for it. Beautiful immaculate room.
