“The hotel is full of heritage, dating back to the mid 19th century. Both the building and its interior are fascinating, with relaxing colors that create a peaceful and stress-free atmosphere. We stayed for just one night during our long motorcycle trip, so unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the additional services the hotel has to offer. Our room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing - exactly what we needed after several days on the road.……

“First time in 25 years of traveling with the family that we couldn't eat at the hotel restaurant. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so little to no alternative. Ended up outside at the rooftop, but on a 36c hot day, it was less that enjoyable. Fortunately the staff on the rooftop was outstanding and helped make our stay more enjoyable. The room itself was ok. But it never cooled off. AC was set to coolest and the room never actually reached 24c and that was by the unit. The rest of the……

“While not downtown, the hotel is clean and easily accessible by local transit (or highway, if one is driving). Staff were very helpful, and also provided a local transit pass for the duration of my stay.”

“vaste chambre lumineuse avec une vue splendide sur le Leman, très propre et relookée , dommage les parties communes de ce bâtiment ancien ne sont pas terribles (odeur, propreté..) et il faut sortir pour se rendre dans un autre batiment pour les repas. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas de tres bonne qualité , type restau "universitaire", cela pourrait etre amelioré ..”

“Die Lage am Genfer See ist schon ziemlich klasse. Es ist ein sehr schönes und kleines Hotel mit gutem Service und nettem Restaurant. Allerdings ist die Zuwegung etwas tricky. Am besten man parkt ein paar hundert Meter vom Hotel entfernt und holt sich dann dort die Wegbeschreibung zur Garage, die etwas abseits vom Hotel ist. Aber alles kein Problem, die Hotelgarage ist sehr gut. Empfehlung 👍”

“Absolutely amazing location. 5 minutes walk from the station and lake Geneva is around the corner. Great base to explore Montreux on public transport as well using the montreux riviera card. Staff spoke good English and property was kept in great condition. Only downside was that the rooms didn’t have AC, but the windows opened very wide and a fan was provided so the summer heat was not a problem.”
