The property was modern and comfortable with multiple decorative pools. Our room looked straight into the ocean and the tall mountains behind. “This hotel is situated directly on the port-the epicenter of everything happening in Chania. In hindsight, we probably should have expected a lively and very loud atmosphere. This is no fault of the hotel; people are on holiday and naturally want to enjoy themselves. We visited in May, which is considered a shoulder season month, yet the noise from others in the harbor and surrounding nightlife did not settle down till after 2:00 a.m. The port also comes alive very early in the morning, with……

“Great spot! Only one real bad thing, there was an awful sewage smell in the lobby every day. Not sure what is happening but they need to fix that. Breakfast was subpar, lots of options but I couldn’t find something that I really liked. Location was great, lots of restaurants around and not far from the main area.”

“The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time.……
