“Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. Some minor maintenance niggles. Seems a bit mean providing a coffee machine but no capsules but hey ho. This is a……

“We travel a reasonable amount and we just say this was one of the most unique and enjoyable rooms we have ever stayed in. Every single detail of the room is impeccable. The original distressed stained coffered ceilings, the wall murals, the furniture, the bathrooms, the configuration. As real estate owners we could even appreciate the level of detail in the electrical and plumbing. The patio was not huge but it was very adequate and provided an immersive feeling in the whole Hania Old Port vibe.……

And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home.”
