Very private coastal home nestled at treetop level yet with dramatic ocean views from every room. House was built and finished October 2010. Light filled house with sky lights, soaring ceilings, floor to ceiling windows with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean, Headland Mountains, crashing waves and San Francisco beyond. Huge wrap around deck, private deck off master bedroom with Adirondacks and lounge chair for sunning, relaxing, watching the waves or nighttime stargazing. Hawks and falcons fly overhead as whales and dolphins pass by at various times of the year.

After a day of hiking the endless coastal and mountain trails, watch the moon rise from your living room window seats, enjoy a BBQ on your deck, take a deep bathtub soak to relax, and finally get lulled to sleep at night by the sounds of the crashing Pacific waves and the far off fog horn which escorts boats through the Golden Gate Bridge!

Beautiful Home and Area

This home is exactly as advertised. The view is gorgeous, the house was super clean, and the area is terrific for hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are lots of thoughtful touches throughout that make you feel right at home. Bev could not have been a more accommodating host. We hope to return to this beautiful spot.

Stunningly Refreshing

The views were spectacular, the house was clean and inviting and thoughtfully prepared. The communications and information provided were helpful. Sometimes i wish there was an extra star on the ratings as it would be well deserved. Probably the best compliment is that I will absolutely return and stay longer next time. Thanks Beverly!

Gorgeous property

We loved staying at this special spot in Muir Beach. Beverly made everything easy. Quiet location with spectacular views. Very clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Well-appointed kitchen. Minutes from Muir Woods. Surrounded by fantastic hiking trails. We hope to return at our earliest opportunity.

A Hidden Jewel!

My wife and I have been blessed to stay at many nice VRBO's over the years. As we love variety, these have been scattered all over North America. Bev's place, however, is the first that we loved well enough to book our next stay before even leaving ... it' really that amazing! The house is so tranquil and peaceful, you will never want to leave. The entire area far surpassed our expectations never having been to the coast. It was convenienly locatedto the sights we wantedto see, but I could have just stayed there and read a book and would have been happy.. nevebeen on the coast.

Fantastic Views

Stayed 3 nights at this property and it’s exactly as the photos offer. The picture windows throughout the house offer fantastic views of the ocean and beach. On clear days you can even get a glimpse of San Francisco. Excellent experience!

This place was the most beautiful place we have stayed yet. The view was spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the beds were very comfortable! Wonderful weekend getaway

We had an amazing weekend at the Muir. Each cottage. The views and setting cannot be beat. House is beautiful with an open floor plan. We cooked all of our meals in, played games and explored the beaches and nearby hikes. Can’t wait to come back already.

A perfect retreat with a gorgeous view!

This property is like a secret hideaway. Beautiful, in excellent condition, totally quiet, and with a mesmerizing view of Muir Beach we could stare at for hours. The town is picture perfect, and the residents we met on our walk down to the beach could not have been friendlier. Don't think twice, book this place! And the owner, Bev, is a delight to work with.

Beautiful house and views. The only issue it states that it has a two bathrooms but it is a bath and a half. You only have one shower, for four adults.

cozy home with beautiful views of Muir beach and SFO

We stayed here a week.I was wishing we had stayed two. The views were incredible and it has a nice kitchen to work in.They could update the dishes, but not really a huge deal. Because the drive up Hwy 1 is on windy and steep roads you may not want to go into town much. The bedrooms are down many steps,so you must be able bodied. Numerous hiking opportunities close by.
