Nice hotel but they tell you that you have to pay $30 for Valet parking that there is no parking at the hotel. This is very misleading. There is a parking garage right across the street. We were there only one night and although the front desk tried to talk us out of it, we took our chances. Cost us $7 for our overnight stay. Pffft!

Front desk lady was not pleasant, not sure if shes just tired or overworked as shes the only one there even doing room service herself. Our room was decent but smelled like it was newly painted, not sure if they are doing remodelling as another room booked by another family member we travelled, they had laminate or wood flooring ours was carpet. Needing extra towels needed to be picked up at the front desk, no microwave its at the lobby by the check in counter. Did not notice any water as well but i liked their complimentary coffee and tea.

The hotel is located in the historic district. On check-in, the woman at the desk asked if we would like to be upgraded to a king suite. I said, yes, that would be great. Other than the room number, that is the only thing she said to me. Nothing about checkout time, wi-fi, breakfast, etc. The room was disappointing and dingy. The bathtub was cracked, the headboard had a stain, the curtains were threadbare in places, and the air conditioner was rattling. The bedroom area felt very boxed in. We're not big complainers, so we figured we'd just go with it. That is, until 7am when construction started in the room above us. Hammering, sawing, all manner of construction sounds that were so loud they may as well have been in the room with us. My husband took recordings on his phone and went to ask that we be moved. The woman at the desk started to argue but as soon as he played the video she started looking at options. There was a room available on the first floor, and we moved right away to a regular king room. This room was significantly nicer than the first room in that the ac was quiet, the curtains were fresh, the headboard was clean, and the bathroom did not have chips in the enamel. Bonus - the view was of a treelined street instead of the roof of another building. I appreciate that they switched our rooms, but they never apologized or checked that we were okay. Very poor customer service, and no one should be placed in a room under one with construction.

There was no drain stopper in the sink. No way to keep water in the sink.They first put us in a room that had not been cleaned, bed unmade. They charged us $150 for incidentuals before we arrived, then they put another $150 on our credit card for incidentals after we arrived. The day we checked out we could not get an explanation for it. We did not use any incidentals. It took 4 or 5 days for them to remove it from our card. $30 ea day for parking is ridiculous plus taxes. We did not know the parking garage was across the street. When I booked online, it stated they had pool but they don't. One day we waited 18 min for our car, we asked for it online before we left our room but the girl was playing on her phone when we got in the lobby, then she brought us the wrong vehicle. S we had to wait longer.

The offsite parking ( around the corner) was a problem -we have a brand new 2024 Alpha Romeo -my husband was very concerned however the valet Darius allowed him to go with him to inspect the parking. I also chose the meal plan -but the dining area was closed again tafter a long day we just wanted something quick -the 2 guys in the dining room bar were able to offer us a burger & fries. It was delicious. Minor things to be corrected otherwise very nice hotel. Thank you.

I kept my service dog in the room for 45 minutes and with do not deserve sing on the door and it was before checkout time the cleaning personnel came in the room let my dog out with the whole floors open. When I came up to get my dog and the luggage to check out,my dog sitting in the middle of the hallway.
