Located on a hill in an old mining town called Jerome this hotel is like stepping back in time. It’s above the Clinkscale Restaurant (which I highly recommend!). Once you check in (inside the restaurant), there is a separate entrance to the upstair rooms. Open the door and immediately feel transported to another era (no elevator here); but the staff will gladly assist you with your luggage. Read the room description carefully as not all of the rooms have a private bathroom. Parking in Jerome is a sport in itself, if you luck out with a spot on the restaurant/hotel side of the street, parking is free; otherwise, there are several slots accessible across the street and in lots on the road below (please read posted signs for information), parking is $7 for the day. Room is on the cozier size but was spotless (same as our previous visit). Staff is super friendly, genuine, and helpful. This is a well run establishment. We will return again! Wear good walking sheos and be prepared for a relaxing experience with a variety of shops.
