"This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning. The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design. We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced. I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."

"This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning. The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design. We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced. I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."

"We stayed at Tsubaki House en route to Kamikatsu. It was a nice change from hotel rooms. An entire house with nice water view exactly as per the photos. The property is very private and accessed by a narrow road. Staff that handled check in and check out super friendly and proactive. They were very helpful. Take some food for BBQ.
