Check in was easy, Stephanie was quick to respond to questions, and the home was beautiful and spotless. The rental was well appointed and even had games for a family game night! I would recommend staying here without reservation and hope to return the next time we are in town. "

"Our cousin vacation couldn't be better! Royal Retreat is a super house for multiple families with a great layout of bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of space in the basement for the kids to bunk up. Terrific common area where we could all cook and eat together, play games, and hang out. Loved the screened porch -- hot tub and grill were great and the golf cart and wagon make it easy to get to the beach. We'll be back!"

It could use a few small repairs, but nothing that will put the trip at an inconvenience. You can tell the area is starting to turn back into a fun little lakeside town. I would do this again. "

"Matthew's property was just as described. It was clean and he was a very responsive host. We were a short drive from both Michigan City and New Buffalo. We enjoyed how quite the home was but how easy it was to get to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The house is spacious, has most of the basic kitchen supplies you need to make meals (we cooked breakfasts and dinners at the home), and was clean. It was great for our family trip of 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. "

"The location was excellent for kids....right next to the playground. Having access to the golf cart for driving back and forth to the beach was a huge plus! Beach toys, chairs and a wagon were present which was nice for transport. The house is older but mostly well maintained. The roof deck is not accessible, despite pictures showing it online. However, this was not a huge deal for our group. We had plenty of space and the starter kit of toilet paper, soap, etc....was more than enough for our stay. Overall, a great place to stay with plenty of room and great amenities. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling with multiple families, especially with smaller children."

"The driveway still had the frame up with boards and nails. I got a screw in my rental tire and have yet to hear from the property manager. The inside was cute and cozy. The neighborhood was questionable. Neighbor to the right was cooking in his front yard in a barrell. Did not stay and left shortly after arriving."

"My husband and I wanted to spend Thanksgiving with our family. Due to a few of them being between 101 yrs old to 2 months old we knew we really couldn’t house hop. We had this great idea of all of us being together under one roof. Your rental exceeded all of our expectations! Everyone was so Happy! It was very BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, and the decor was AMAZING! The children enjoyed the bonfire while makIng s’mores. Checking in and out was so easy. We’ve already decided to rent two houses for next Thanksgiving 🦃 Thanks again!"
