"Property never shown to us. Unable to locate silverware. One of 2 ac units did not work. No washer as advertised. No swimming pool as advertised. Special code for beach & gate entrance never given. Bathroom door broken. Needs more clothes storage for extended stay. Many issues could be resolved with proper unit personal show-around. Management needs to focus on customer service rather than Christmas parties. "

"Our family of four (two adults and two kids 9 &5) stayed for a week at Plantation Jan Thiel. It was a excellent home base to explore the island from. Loeki is a fantastic host who made us feel at home. She provided loads of great tips for beaches to visit, activities for the kids and restaurants to try. The property is beautiful with an easy walking trail down to see the flamingos at the salt flats, a great pool with comfortable lounge chairs and large terraces to enjoy the view and a cocktail...

"The property is nice and well kept, staff are helpful and the breakfast options were plentiful. The two pools are nice especially the man made beach pool by the beach club. The only set back for me was the rental of the beach area every night for the week we were there to a private event. Music rattled our room every night till 1 or 2 am. On one of the nights was a fireworks show right outside our building. This really is the only complaint which ofc I assume is a one off situation. "
