“We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. The was more deer feed at the cabin, which we sprinkled in the meadow out front, and had lots of deer visitors which we enjoyed watching. We had questions about how to get to a favorite peach stand, which our hosts answered quite expertly with detailed directions. Breakfast was supreme, with farm fresh eggs, biscuit dough,……

Secluded is a good way to describe this property and it was exactly what we were looking for.You have great views from the firepit area of the hill across the valley and there are good views from the front porch.But, the best part was the peacefulness sitting in the mountain breeze and listening to the birds and nature. “The house was amazing and very well put together and the view from the back porch was very pretty with the river in the background. We loved how close it was to the town and all the wineries. Would highly recommend staying here. ”

“We choose this place since it was close to Becker Vineyard. My wife's favorite. We loved it. Small and cozy, but not too small. All furniture was COMFORTABLE! It was quite and clean. It is about 15-20 minutes into town, but so worth it! We will stay here again 100%. Even had deer in the yard. We have rented many places in Fredericksburg, this has been our favorite. ”

“We rented 3 of these cabins for our Fredericksburg stay as we were in town for a wedding at Alstadt brewery which was across the street. They are located behind the Wedding Oak Winery and are hidden from the main road. This place is a great option, especially if you have a larger party, and is so close to everything. 10 min to downtown and wineries all around. We were able to spread out across the 3 cabins so everyone had comfortable accommodations and enjoyed the quiet and relaxing area. We……
