“Small room but excellent location and helpful staff”

“Ottima la posizione dell’hotel, ma le camere risultano datate, non c’è il frigorifero in camera e il bagno non ha la finestra. Colazione scarsa per la categoria, il personale non ci ha chiesto se volevamo delle bevande calde che non erano disponibili da dispenser. Vista la posizione siamo stati costretti a cenare in hotel per mancanza di alternative vicine, conto alto e porzioni ridotte.”

“Really nice owners! The breakfast in the room for the next morning was plentiful and a nice touch.”

“The staff at the hotel was really friendly but if you have issues with lifting luggage it may be a problem getting up the stairs . We were not told when the breakfast was over so when we arrived at 950 am it was over and was only given toast and juice and coffee . We really enjoyed the supper as there was only one other place that was open in the village near by pier which was already booked for the night . The stay was really quite in the hotel which was also another plus but the beds were not……

“Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). All in all just a……

“Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again”
