“For a low end priced motel the staff is doing an exceptional job of running the place and keeping it clean! Pleasant stay.”

“Wonderful restored house from around 1900. Clean and beautifully furnished with extensive garden and pool. Hosts Brian and Vanessa are both helpful and charming. We felt very relaxed there. Excellent breakfast this morning. Got a demo and useful tips on making Vanessa's tortillas! Homemade muffins, rolls, salsa....yum. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Gonzales. Would stay again. Worth every penny.”

“Walking into the hotel was a very nice appearance, but the rooms were outdated and the blankets on the bed where very very thin no coffee cups, but had coffee so I’ll give it a six out of 10”

“We paid to rent a kitchenette. First room they checked us into was not a kitchenette. Got moved to a kitchenette. No water pressure in bathroom sink, stove would not boil water and the hood vent cover was missing. Good vent was rusty and moldy. Also the stove which would not boil a pot of water was rusty and dirty.”

“Cute and clean. It was perfect for our girls' overnight trip. Super easy, no issues.”
