"Two nights stay in March 1926. Booked the balcony room. The view was good. The room was adequate. However, upon arrival, the refrigerator didn’t work, we had it replaced. We asked for service on the room during our two day stay and all they brought us was towels no sheet change no floor sweep no garbage trash removal from the room. When we requested why service wasn’t done to the room they mentioned they would bring a sheet so we could change our own sheets, but I spoke to the general manager the next day about it. He was incredibly rude and said policy was that they didn’t change sheets unless you request changing of sheets in your room service request, which would mean you would have to call instead of just putting the placard on the door which is described in the text messages you get every day regarding service on your room. We did all that they required and yet they did not change our sheets. They did not take the trash out. There’s so much lint on the exhaust fan cover in the bathroom that had never been cleaned that the steam builds up in the room. I had to pull the cover away from the wall to get any relief from the steam of the shower. Again, they did not change the sheets when we requested service to a room. They said they didn’t change the sheets because we actually have to call to ask for a change because they don’t normally change sheets unless you request. Nonsense the general manager is garbage. "The place is luxurious and unique, but I wish I had known when I booked that this is a timeshare. I just wanted a quiet hotel after an extremely long day of traveling, but the concierge wanted me to book an "informational session." I finally relented so I could get to the room and relax, but the sales team called me TWICE that night and TWICE the next morning to "remind me to bring my credit card and ID with me" to the session. Definitely not relaxing to be disturbed that frequently. I think the facilities are beautiful, but I wish hotels.com or even some of the reviews would have clued me in to the nature of the property, as I just thought I was staying at a nicer Hyatt hotel with upgraded amenities, not a timeshare that would make my entire stay about selling me a timeshare. You couldn't even take advantage of the "free Starbucks coffee and gourmet pastries" they advertised without being hounded, because they are only available at the media/presentation lounge. Maybe I was just gullible and should have done more homework before I booked, but I thought others should be aware if they're booking through hotels.com, as well, since that is not made clear on the hotels.com site."

"The maid to order omelets had much to be desired, they were small. Check in for our three night stay was a lot more difficult than it needed to be, and there were only two people working at the desk so it took almost an hour to check in."

"We live in CNTX and La Omni is our favorite hotel on the riverwalk. Went for girls trip this time and it was fun seeing a new area of the Mansion. We were on 6th flr with view of Tower of Americas. The valet is the way to go for parking, upon leaving, Armando was THE BEST and so very helpful! The rooms are comfy and clean."
