Americas Best Value Inn New Paltz

10/10 Excellent

"Don't let the outside fool you!!! Once you step inside there's a whole different feel. The lobby is very welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. When we opened to door to our room it was WOW. The room was very large and comfortable with a REAL closet. The bed was like falling into a cloud, very soft and comfortable, I got the 2 best nights sleep I've gotten in a while. Breakfast left a little to be desired; but, it was OK. Get the vanilla latte with a chocolate shot, very good."

Tru by Hilton Middletown

8/10 Good

"The room seemed smaller than normal with a King size bed. There was only one desk chair for sitting which was inconvenient for having dinner for two in the room. The additional inconvenience was a community microwave and ice dispenser was located only on the first floor of the hotel. The available breakfast amenities and snacks were great choices"

New Paltz Way Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything about New Paltz Way is top tier! My husband and I spent a long weekend here in one of the king-sized suites. The whole hotel is beautiful. The outside is deceptively masculine and high-end plain. The inside is lovely: warm, clean, and cozy. The room itself was immaculate, and while the furnishings are simple they’re intentional. The balcony has a view of the river and rail trail, and my husband and I enjoyed evening tea up there every night. The amenities are all superb. The bath products are from DS & Durga and nicer than the expensive stuff I brought. The heated bathroom floor is an amazing touch. I loved that the coffee and tea bar is open all day and well into the evening, and the lobby has a great selection of vinyl to take back to your room and listen to on the record player. My favorite amenity was the spa though. The therapy pool was perfect after a long hike. It’s small and shallow but it’s not really for swimming, it’s for relaxing in the water. The steam room and ice room were new experiences for me. I liked that they were super clean and smelled amazing - breathing in that steam would cure anything that ails you! The sauna was my favorite of the four spa amenities. Outfitted in blonde wood and warm light, I def had to watch my time in there so I wouldn’t cook myself accidentally. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and accomodating. The hotel is near enough to downtown New Paltz and the bus station so you don’t need a car to get there. 10/10 time!"
