Petty Ranch Inn

"I'm always honest, but also opinionated, so if I have a personal preference or expectation, that doesn't mean the hotel was bad. Location to Zion is excellent with multiple food options and bike rental within walking distance. Springdale shuttle stop literally around the corner. Check in was quick and easy. Owner friendly, shared that a microwave was available in the lobby and fresh coffee daily. Room was spacious for 2, felt up to date and clean. Bathroom very modern feeling. Ac worked will (under window unit) enough outlets for charging stuff. Did not use the TV so can't comment on that. Fridge was a good size and we froze water bottles for our hikes. Easily could have held meat, cheese, milk, juice, at for cereal, cold sandwiches, etc Pool and hot tub was lovely and relaxing. Rarely busy. Plenty of towels. We saw the owner multiple times during the week. Two pet peeves for this hotel and many others... Lack of dim lightning to help kids at bedtime. Tiny reading lights or one low wattage bulb is always appreciated to get the room dark enough for kids to sleep but light in a corner for the adult. Other pet peeve is having drawers for clothes. I personally don't like living out of a suitcase. Again, these are my preferences which many people probably don't care about. In no way did they ruin our stay. We would totally go back to this hotel"

"We stayed in 13 hotels in a 2 week trip and this was the highlight! Absolutely immaculate, excellent facilities and the location couldn’t have been better. We arrived late but still managed to get parking right outside our room. We were also allowed to leave our car parked at the hotel for the following day, allowing us to easily explore the park. We would return in a heartbeat."

"This place was so nice! It had the feel of a spa resort. Wonderful view and pool/hot tub. Their linens and towels were high quality along with their soaps. Our room was spacious. I recommend the pool view rooms instead of river view. Convenient restaurant next door called the Outpost which was delicious. Highly recommend The Desert Pearl!"
