The design of the space is excellent - I really enjoyed the views of the ocean from the kitchen and living room. We had a wonderful week staying here. However, there are a few critter issues - there were palmetto bugs and we noticed squirrels or some similar animal living under the floor/in the walls. I have photos of their entry location if you'd like me to share that with you. I was hoping there would be enough deck chairs for the four of us to sit on during the meteor shower, but alas only three chairs...It is time to invest in replacing parts of the deck. I learned not to use the railing on the steps to the beach unless I wanted to get another handful of splinters. Nails and screws were coming up in the decking - someone is going to seriously cut themselves one day if not fixed. It was comfortable for four people. Beautiful sunsets! When we arrived dog poop was in several places near the grill and parking area so we picked it up. Nails are popping along with screws on the decking and stairs so all 3 of us encountered the pain of those. Only 2 usable chairs on the patio, the third was cracked, no table on patio. Beautiful house but couch is old and sags, uncomfortable. Frying pans are rusty and scratched up. A few coffee filters given as a welcome gift but they are the wrong type for the coffee maker.
