"After a long journey we were pleased to find a comfortable bed and a clean room. It was great that the office stayed open until late to offer a warm and friendly welcome - but note you need to call if you are going to be later than 7. Accommodation was basic and a little dated but perfectly adequate. We would have welcomed the opportunity to make a cup of of coffee but the room, despite having a fridge, had no facility to make drinks."

"The house is beautiful and so was the room. There was no staff to greet us though. Breakfast is that there cafe chocolat shop down the road. Pretty decent food. The kitchen area was good. We appreciated the fridge. It was very hot in our room at night. The thermostat was not working. It was very uncomfortable."

"Pros: The location is excellent and easy to access. The restaurant is amazing! Make a reservation during busy time. Staircase is wide and easy to climb to get to the rooms. Self checkin is easy - read the instructions carefully. Along with the restaurant, there is a great bar and cafe on the first floor. Room was large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Cons: The air conditioner was loud and disruptive. If you are a light sleeper, this will be an issue. With the restaurant down below, we found there to be a lot of noise in the early hours of the day (4am - 8am). I think it was trucks doing deliveries. They did provide one pair of ear plugs in the room."

"Staff was polite, though Ive never had an accommodation call me prior to checkin and ask me questions about my stay (how many guests, when we will arrive, etc.) So that was odd. Pool was well maintained and clean. Room lock was really finicky and annoying, the lights all turn on at once too, so I didnt like that. Room was definitely dated and weird layout, toilet and shower area was really small so I feel it could be better layout. But it was clean, and housekeeping did visit and tidy up and gave us fresh towels. Overall its a decent stay for a budget price."

"We enjoyed the stay so much, Mike is a wonderful host, an easy going and a kind person. He can understand us when we missed some thing in his house and took some spoons with no reason from his kitchen. The room was so clean, the kitchen is so useful and the backyard is so comfortable. We will introduce his place to our friends, family and relatives. So thanks Mike and hope to see you again."

"You cannot beat the location! We enjoyed the farmers market with live music at Pascal-Poirier Park, had drinks on the terrace at the Shediac Hotel both a 2 minute walk away. The owner was very communicative making sure our check in and check out was seamless. The house was perfect for our family’s stay in Shediac."
