"We had a lot of fun at Chicken Ranch! The hotel was clean and the view from our odd-numbered room was beautiful. Th casino was new, clean and lots of fun! The windows in the casino make it unique, and there is no smoking! Playing blackjack was fun and lucrative! We can't wait to come back. No free breakfast, but plenty of good coffee shops and restaurants."

"An absolutely beautiful place to stay at . the food was amazing and honestly it felt like eating as a great restaurant the rooms are beautiful with all the comfort you can expect except there is no TV although there are some at the bar… the swimming pool is heated and very clean and huge . a real pleasure. There is a need for gym but other than that, we had an amazing stay and would be recommending this property to anyone"

"We tried to check in at midnight after a long day that included a five hour flight after an hour delay. The night clerk was not very helpful. Assigned us a room on the fourth floor but would not give us a map of the property. It was dark and raining hard and we couldn’t find the outdoor elevator😩 We gave up, went back to registration and told him we wanted to cancel and spent the night on our daughter’s couch. Not very good for 74 year old backs. We prepaid so we won’t get our money back. Not our usual Expedia experience. Will never stay there again. "

"Old. Needs new carpet. Nice to have a refrigerator but it is right by your head going on and off all night. Wood base of bed sticks out so far you stub your toes or hit your shin constantly. I don't know if the other rooms have that base. Would be nice to have a hook in the bathroom or shelf to put clothes on for when you get out of the shower. Would also be nice to have at least one extra hand/face towel already without having to ask for it. Looks like they could have a nice restaurant and outside seating but it was closed and has been until they get a new chef. Door did not fit door frame so light came in from hallway across our faces while sleeping. We will not stay there again."

"This is a vintage hotel built in the mid 1800's. It is a bed and breakfast in the middle of town. We enjoyed the old feel and obvious age of the property. Located on a main street, we stayed in room 11, one of the original to the building. An extra large room with two queen size beds.(mattresses needed upgrading, but bedding was cute.) The rolling floor keeps you guessing which way to turn in the room. The charming glass windows are still original to the building, we sat in the rocking chairs on the front porch, and aired out the room, while waiting for friends to join us. Water pressure was great in the bathroom. Breakfast was fine, but the most enjoyable was the camaraderie in the dinning room. There was a casual vibe and we enjoyed talking to the other folks that had ventured to stay in this interesting and original place. The first two story building in Sonora built by Dr. Gunn."
