"The location was great, the staff very helpful and friendly.
I did notice the bathroom fan was not working and the room was a little musty like it needed a thorough airing. It was very clean and comfortable. My companion would have liked a bigger variety of fruit in the breakfast buffet."

"This place was the perfect cozy retreat with clean and comfortable rooms and plenty of space to relax. We loved seeing the deer family that seemed to love the yard next-door. Perfect pricing for the location too! Only recommendations would be to add a little more privacy curtains to the front door but other than that perfect (kids are definitely audible but I think it was sweet) thanks! "

Tranquil, Peaceful Riverhouse in Monroe GA; Close to Athens!

"A group of us (6 couples) came to Georgia to attend the Combat Veterans Associations Nationals in Athens. As a large group we wanted a comfortable place to stay nearby and the Riverhouse in Monroe was perfect! Very spacious, very clean, quiet area and beautiful property and home. We had more than enough space for our large group and we felt right at home. So much so that some have talked about planning another trip to the Riverhouse- especially to check in on the beautiful, sweet local cat that we have named George. George greeted us every day, was not a nuisance at all, and made our stay even more special. We certainly would book the Riverhouse again! "

"This property is managed by a company. After reserving the home, I was directed to contact the managing company through another site. The managing company did not respond when I tried to communicate with them through VBRO. This is a pet friendly home which smelled like dog. If people are paying to bring a pet that fee should go to erasing pet odors. "
