"Entrance to park and the scenic drive were close by. Interesting Ghost Town of Terlingua with restaurants minutes away. Dark sky at nighttime. It’s old but well maintained and clean."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the fridge and the microwave worked. So did the air conditioner, still useful in late September! The lodge is convenient to many of the best hikes in Big Bend. The nearby store is well-stocked for a National Park store. With the exception of a power outage (of the whole park!) my last night there, everything was perfect. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and I expect to!"

"Beautiful location very easy to get to super fast to get into Big Bend Park. We had a scorpion in the sink the first night we got there that I had to throw out and there was a lot of critters like there are out in the desert. The view of the sky was amazing, but we did have some non-guests visit at 2 AM One of the nights we stayed, which was unsettling with me and my two children in the middle of nowhere. Should have brought a weapon in hindsight. Great stay overall"
Sherri’s Terlingua Cabin on the Creek: Easy Access

"Let first start with saying this property is a hidden gem. It's centrally located to everything in Terlingua, your never more than 10 min from everything you will need. My host Daryl was very easy to communicate with and responsive with all my questions. The view of the creek from the front porch at sunset or sunrise was perfect, I highly recommend enjoying a cup of coffee or a beer while soaking up the natural beauty around you. The cabin is overly well stocked with pretty much everything you'll need except food of course. The property is super simple to find day or night. Most importantly the view of the night sky and the Milky Way are just steps out the front door. If you're looking for a place to unwind and reset this this place is for you."
