The highlight of the hike has to be the waterfalls at the end of the box canyon.

Rock Stalls Natural Sanctuary is a 70 acre private preserve in the Hocking Hills area that is owned and operated by Camp Akita, but the management of Camp Akita also allows access to the general public.

The sanctuary is definitely off the beaten path in the sometimes tourist heavy hocking hills area. It offers a quiet bit of respite with beautiful scenery in a box canyon with a creek and waterfalls.

The kiddos had a great time playing pool, pac man, ping pong, & basketball. The hot tub was a hit too! We hiked during the day and cooked 2 dinners in the evenings. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (including baking sheets & a crockpot!)."
