The lake at Pattison State Park. Beautiful to sit by in the late afternoon. Nice CCC buildings to check out too. You can walk to both big and little manitou falls from the lake on beautiful hiking trails.

"We had a great stay at the house. We had a 12, 9 and 7 yo, two well behaved dogs and two couples. It was perfect setting, outdoor space, opportunity to grill and throw ball for the dog. We walked to the shack, bar down the street, and the kids enjoyed the food! Good food actually! Will stay again if we are in the area. I think overall our biggest complaint was no salt, lol. "Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel."

"The staff that was there was excellent, helpful, friendly, efficient, competent-- however they were short staffed so there was not consistent room service, the pool was clean, the breakfast was basic but nice with wafflemaker, yogurt, frozen jimmy dean sandwiches, cereal, milk, the breakfast area was comfortable, the hotel was quiet, our room was clean and did not smell like cigarette residue, good for families or anyone "
