“We were new to the Interlochen area, as we normally stay farther north, but we loved the convenience of the location to other areas in NoMi. I highly recommend Interlochen State Park, especially if you're traveling with your pups. The home itself was well laid out and SO warm and cozy. We stayed over Christmas and often didn't even need the heater on, which was nice. The only things I'd add that aren't in the listing is if you're planning on cooking, bring exactly what you need, as there isn't a……

“It was a very cute cozy cabin. It had all the basic necessities including oven, microwave, refrigerator which was nice but the cleanliness of the house was below average. Dust could be seen on the walls, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned. There was splatter of some kind on the bathroom wall just above the mirror. The dish rack once we pulled it out from under the kitchen counter was gross. The heater when it turned on rattled very loudly. It sounded like the fan was broken and hitting……

“This was our second stay on Bass Lake, but first in this location. We really appreciated having access to a beach and kayaks, plus the fire pit was excellent. The house has all the things you would want for a long stay, plus the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owners were attentive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. P.S. I recommend bringing a pitcher-type water filter with you. Its a little bit more……

“This house was great for our family, lots of space to spread out, great location to get to other spots in leelanau and also traverse city. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great communication about property and surrounding area. Well equipped kitchen but microwave on top of refrigerator, very high. Great fire ring outside and close walk to lake. Nice shower upstairs but also need shower downstairs as tub inaccessible for most seniors. Windows everywhere so felt we were living in the woods.”
