“We had a great stay and did some hiking in Cheaha Park. I read the hotel reviews and thought they must have made some improvements, because we didn't see any bugs, and the place was pretty clean. It's an older place, and has had a lot of maintenance, but that is normal to me. We had lots of hot water and that is important to me. The TV worked. The refrigerator, microwave, etc. was fine. I think the microwave was getting old, the bedspread has some holes in it, which was weird. But for the price……

“We chose this hotel because we need to do laundry after 6 days on the road, for price and location. The pictures online are beautiful and the exterior of the motel is quite pleasant, nice setting. The first thing we notice is that the main office occupied with family watching TV and the door notice says they have Covid, use the night window. OK... then we see the laundry room; filthy, machines rusty. We question the attendant about that and he says 'they work fine and are clean inside, but let……

“The room wasn’t as bad, it truly wasn’t dirty. I just wiped down and brought my own sheets just in case but honestly it was pretty clean! The staff was nice, there was breakfast like cereal and a waffle maker and coffee but we didn’t use it. There was restaurant and shopping really close which was nice. We stayed here to go to the talladega race, it was only an hour from the race track and we were able to take back roads to miss traffic. Overall a great stay for a short weekend trip! We’d stay……
