The city is very run down. The people are wonderful. Never have I seen a Steak House that one couldn't get a glass of wine or at the very least a beer, till I went to Talladega. All the restaurants in Talladega need to be up dated and cleaned.
Be sure to visit The Back Porch on Marina Drive and sit outside under the weeping willow tree - food is amazing. Also, the Shack BBQ was the real deal Tina's Home Cookin' is a perfect little breakfast spot!
The old restored homes were beautiful but the downtown street signage was almost nonexistent.
Talladega is my home. Love it!!!
Cute little town, seems to be a fairly nice place to live
