“We absolutely loved Bamboo House! It was the perfect first introduction to Harbour Island. It's centrally located to anything you could want to see around the island yet somehow still feels tucked away! The property grounds are beautiful and quiet. The walls surrounding keep out the outside noise, and make you feel safe and secure in an unfamiliar country! The plunge pool was the perfect way to cool off after coming in from the beach, and we spent so much time on the patio hanging out for……

Free pickup from the ferry to your unit upon arrival. But there is a sizable fee if you need a ride to the ferry when leaving the unit, so you may want to inquire on that upon booking.”

“The water was beautiful and we really enjoyed the beach at rainbow bay. It’s challenging to get around the settlements because there are very few street signs or signage on businesses. Don’t be afraid to ask around for what you what. We found it to be the easiest.”

“This cabin was accurately described in the listing - it had all the basic necessities. The bed was comfortable and the living space was open with lots of windows. And of course, the beach with a lovely swimming area and no one else around was wonderful. Loved the hammock! We knew about the cold shower and were fine with that. The only downside was the resident dog (not Rain). He's young, friendly and playful. Also ill-mannered, mouthy, jumps up, nips at toes and legs and barks like a maniac……

We felt home away from home with the pups and would love to try to get them back with us. The house could use a few updates but was a very comfortable house. It was also in a great central location to go north or south. We would definitely stay again at Palm Bluff!”

“We had two families in this house with a total of 6 kids ranging in ages from 12- 6mo. It was in a great location with privacy but close to the sandbar restaurant and an easy golf cart ride to town. The house was so well stocked and made it easy to cook. I’d definitely recommend it!”

Taking care of minor problems quickly. The location to the beach was very convenient. I only wish we would have had a better way to get the kayak to the beach.”
