“Before we arrived we were asked if it was possible that we could arrive a bit later at 5pm since they were struggling to get back on time to hand us the keys since they live next door, we agreed since you dont want to upset owners that live next door. When they arrived they were very chatty about another business they own and how busy they were. Good things about the property were the bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower and the comfy bed mattress. The kitchen has a lot utensils and……

“Lovely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The shower riser rail needed replacing in one room as we had to hold the showerhead in order to use it. But water was hot and plentiful. Lots of parking available and electric car charge points too. Despite being near the main road the room was very quiet and no traffic noise heard. “Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar downstairs. A hair dryer would have been handy. The evening menu was limited so we dined elsewhere. The cooked breakfast was really good. We would have slept better had it not been for an energetic……
