“The owners and staff were warm, welcoming and always willing to help. Very nice people. Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. The property and trails were beautiful, the flowers, plants, fish pond and ducks were nice to see. There were lots of birds to see and hear. Overall a great place and cant wait to go back.”

“Comfortable studio apartment, well stocked kitchen and lovely view of the beach. Marvin was a great host- really responsive and on hand with anything we needed. Castara is lovely little town and the apartment was in an excellent location. We were unsure what to expect when booking but we had the perfect stay and would return again!”

“Absolutely loved this property! For anyone wanting to completely detach and reset I highly recommend Castara Retreats. I stayed in Coco Palm and it was immaculate. The only thing I suggest is to bring towels because they do not switch them daily. Other than that I have no complaints. Staff was excellent and inviting. They overheard me saying how much I love mangos and they gathered some from around the property and delivered them to the room without me asking. The yoga instructor Judah was...

"We had a wonderful time, food, beach pool and rest. For the price its very good we will be back again. Definitely have photos to prove all the above. Lovely staff, nice drinks and the beach was very nice too. And Waves restaurant try the fish fingers and the brownie! "
