It's a lovely hotel, and the staff is amazing--kind, helpful, responsive. It's the attention to detail in the rooms that made our stay kind of disappointing. For example, we needed to use the iron, and the ironing board literally fell into pieces when I took it out of the closet (where the holder that attaches the iron and board to the wall in the closet was broken and unusable). The bolt holding the legs fell out, and the apparatus to adjust the height was broken. The body wash in the shower hadn't been filled. The fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed, and the handles on the shower and tub seemed broken. The wireless charging on the lamp by the bed didn't work. None of these were really serious, but taken together, they made it just feel like the beautiful rooms don't get the attention and upkeep they deserve.
