Beautiful Getaway amazing views! Sleeps 6

Silas’s Hideaway is a newer home just outside of the town of Dushore in Sullivan County, nested on a hillside to enjoy the views.
We have very good internet, and a Very large 2 sided wrap around deck with deck chairs and table. Two bedrooms, Sleeps 6 with 3 Queen beds. All bed linens and pillows are provided. Bath is fully stocked with towels and bath. We have two the freestanding air conditioner units in kitchen living room areas, and one in the large bedroom, and a window unit in the other bedroom. We usually place the a/c units in towards the end of June. And are in place till cool weather arrives.
The kitchen has a gas stove, full size refrigerator with a ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer and coffee maker and a Keurig. Cabinets are stocked with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots pans and utensils for both the home and outdoor grill area.
Large open concept living area. With sofas, recliner, we have great internet service with smart TV, (so can access over 200 channels also you are able to sign into your Netflix, You Tube, etc accounts) and a DVD player with movies, and a stereo and speakers .
Silas Hideaway has a stone stacked fire pit which features two custom made bench. We took a 100 year old piece of farm equipment apart and turned it into bench’s.
Also bring your charcoal we have a park style grill right off the back deck of the home with quick easy access to the kitchen.

Something we have invested in UV Germicidal lamps, we use these after each guest leave , for disinfection. Also our home is throughly cleaned after all guests leave.

Silas’s Hideaway is located near Worlds End State Park and Ricketts Glen State Park.

Perfect Getaway
Perfect place to get away and reset for two hard-working individuals. Felt like we were at our own place - didn’t receive much communication from the property manager while we were there, but she was responsive when we contacted about a minor connectivity issue for the TV. Enjoyed use of the grill, fire pit, and the wrap-around porch/balcony. The clear view from the kitchen and living room into the mountains was breathtaking, and beautiful to wake up to each morning. Great place for anyone of any age - access to games, movies, and entertainment as well, and super tidy & clean upon arrival. Thank you for the perfect place to retreat! 🙂

A really lovely place to stay
This is a seriously comfortable and cozy place, with great views. easy access to Rickett's Glen and World's End state parks, plus the nearby road offers great (and quiet) walks). Looking forward to a return visit

Girls weekend
Me and my two friends stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely home and had all the amenities we could have asked for. We had a fire on Friday. We brought our own wood because we weren’t sure if there was going to be wood available for us to use and to our surprise there was. We hiked all day on Saturday and then came back to the warmth of the house in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

Well thought out house
The owner made this house very cozy and comfortable for the guests. The house is well designed and has all the futures suited for city folks. Meanwhile, the surroundings are beautiful ans so pieceful makes it a perfect getaway. We lived the rosters.

The moment you walk in, you will notice how bright, cheerful, and beautiful this home is. Every room looks new, as if it were renovated yesterday, and you'll gradually notice more great details. The beds are extra comfortable, the pillows super comfortable, and the bath towels extra thick. It's a dream to cook on the gas stove. The view from the living room and back deck is of a lush green valley and hills. The house is a short drive from a state park with great hiking (World's End), from gentle river kayaking (on the Susquehanna), and from the great donuts at the bakery a mile north of Dushore. The owner promptly answered the few questions that I had prior to and during my visit.

A Little Slice of Heaven
Home was immaculate, cozy and wonderful views. Very well stocked and beds very comfortable with nice linens. Our host, Kathy, was prompt with requests and a lovely person.
