“Check in process was super easy, very clean. Excellent view. So peaceful, even near the highway was still peaceful. Grill worked great, microwave and fridge all clean and worked well. Definitely recommend. ”

“No tan bien ”

“This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again. ”

“This was our second stay at the cabin. It was as wonderful as we remembered it. Perfect location between Brevard and Hendersonville, comfortable and clean accommodations, and the porch is a great spot for waiting out an afternoon storm or counting fireflies in the evening. We plan to return again next summer. ”

“We stayed as a group of 6 and it was perfect! One bathroom sounded a little scary at first but everyone agreed to work together and it was no problem at all (this included 3 teenage girls). We loved the dream whips at Darnell’s Farm- a must do especially since so close! We white water rafted the Nantahala River which was great (especially for beginners). The house and location was exactly what we wanted and needed! Immaculate, cozy, and a great location! We will be back!”

“We were very pleased and happy with the home. There were kyacks and a canoe that we used almost everyday. The grandchildren swam and played in the lake. The road up to the home was 1.9 miles and our daughter ran on it everyday for a total of four miles a day. Quite the workout! The owner supplied plenty of towels, tissues, paper towels dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There also was tide available if you didn’t bring your own. “Our host was so helpful in helping me surprise my wife on her special day by staying at this amazing cozy cabin tucked back in the mountains. The location is perfect for just relaxing and taking in the surrounding sounds and views of nature on the back porch drinking our morning coffee and wishing we never have to leave. “My husband and I brought our 14/15 yo old son and 3 of his friends for his birthday. Lots of room to spread out. Pool table, hot tub, TVs were great. Also room to venture outdoors, fire pit. Close to Cherokee which has lots of entertainment ideas, even for hard to occupy 15 years olds. Definitely recommend for a nature getaway that is still close to activities, restaurants and importantly, grocery store. ”
