"Staff was nice!"

"The breakfast was just ok at best. Seemed to be but not sure the eggs were powdered eggs, the appearance and texture was not consistent with regular eggs. "

"Front desk staff was RUDE (except for our checkout gentleman). The guy who sits in the corner during the week, almost never made eye contact with anyone. We were not permitted to check in 20 minutes early, so don't expect that. The lady who checked us in at 3:05, was determined to finish pouring her juice into her sippy cup before she would acknowledge me. She was slow and gave off a rude vibe. The handicap accessible suite did NOT have an in-room sofa like the other suites (which is a violation of ADA), the photos conveniently hide that fact. This was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Woman at the front desk, I think was going to move us, but we needed the handicap room for the grab bars at the toilet and shower. We asked to borrow a chair for my mobility-challenged dad to sit in the room, and was told a firm NO (we had to buy a $60 Walmart lawn chair). Furniture was huge and dated. A lot of workers stay here so it's crowded at breakfast. Entry and bath tiles were filthy and gray, which my sister scrubbed clean for an hour. They have a grade B in food service, and the sausage gave my dad diarrhea, we had to buy kaopectate. The housekeeping manager was a sweetheart, and took good care of us! And the gentleman who checked us out was very nice. "

"Checked in and the room had not been properly cleaned. Hair in several places in the bathroom, tub was filthy. Was not stocked with any soap, washcloths or towels.The bathroom was as far as I got with the inspection and I requested to be moved. Staff placed us in another room and it was no better. Floor was filthy with crumbs of food and tags from clothing. Left over food in the fridge. The bathroom mirror had toothpaste spray on it with a hazy film it looked like it had been sprayed, but not wiped down, toilet bowl was filthy. No towels or washcloths in this room either. I booked here based on the good reviews and the new construction. It has obviously went downhill. I would strongly suggest hiring new cleaning staff or management thoroughly inspecting all rooms before placing guest in them. Very disappointed it doesn't even deserve one star."

"Well, after we checked in at midnight, everything seemed to be pretty pleasant. But this morning at daylight, I realized the parking lot and surrounding area is not very inviting. There’s absolutely no place if you have a pet for them to relieve themselves because there is no zero grass only concrete and pavement."

"Breakfast was not what we usually experience at a Hampton Inn. Grits crockpot was empty (didn’t even have the crock insert in it), juice machine had an Out of Order sign on it? they were out of forks, and the coffee looked more like tea. There was still another hour of breakfast left so not sure what the people ate that came after us. Hotel, and room were nice although shower wasn’t hot. Staff at check in was very friendly. For one night it was good to have a clean room and comfy bed. I sleep with earplugs but heard a lot off road noise in the morning. "
