“House 1 flight down from street level. Outdoor deck is a flight of stairs down (wary if you have little kids)Kayaks another 4 more flights down. didnt use them, but looked fun. Jetty quite high to launch kayaks.House was clean, uncluttered and modernly furnished. Communication was excellent, and owner let us stay extra 1.5 hrs.”

People have mentioned the multiple extension cords and connecting wires and older setup; consider the location like a Catskill cabin but closer down the Hudson Valley with some modernized upgrades to fit the house size particularly in the kitchen. “We had a wonderful stay during our time at this property for our state competition week. The home is beautiful, easy to find, and very comfortable, perfect for a group. We had a few mishaps, including accidentally locking ourselves out late at night, and the host was incredibly kind and flexible, assisting us promptly each time. When we realized a toiletry bag had been left behind, the host graciously mailed it back to us at no charge, which we greatly appreciated.The home comfortably……

“Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house.……
