Walden Residences

The property was clean, quiet and close to town. The restaurant on site was a little disappointing. Be aware that all the restaurants on property and in town close a couple of days each week. Last comment, don’t waist your time and money at Rockies restaurant. Horrible food and maybe the most expensive restaurant in town.

New and nicely thought out property.

This is an older motel that has had some paint and basic maintenance. It’s not a resort or a big Steamboat hotel. It’s in a wonderful part of town for exploring on foot. There is some construction directly next door but we were in Steamboat to get out and see sights and hike. So we were gone most of each day and not there to hear it. Our room was dated (but it’s a motel, so it’s exactly what we expected). It was extremely clean, had nice charging ports for our devices, a fantastic patio, and...

I arrived late in the evening. The young man was helpful but could have been more friendly. The room was outstanding, extremely clean and quiet. It had a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Who could want more? The breakfast was wonderful and the lady serving it was kind and personable. It was a primo stay.

Very clean, polite staff, great location. Will be back for sure!

Something I like about this hotel, but can't put my finger on it. Could be because it's very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Being a Holiday Inn, you don't expect much, but this hotel seems to hit the mark. It's a mile or so out of town, but close enough to not make it much of an issue. They also have a bar/restaurant on site. They serve cold beer and ok food. Good enough if you don't want to venture out of the hotel late in the day.

We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi tub and private hot tub. It was wonderful to wake up and have coffee next to the creek. Staff were super nice and accommodating.

The staff made the experience wonderful! We had the best time in the lounge with Kier! What a great human with so much expertise! We will definitely be coming back to explore more of Steamboat Springs!

We stayed in the Moose Haven cabin 2. My family and I had such a wonderful experience staying in this cabin. It was in the middle of the two major reason for our visit, not more than 3 to 5 minutes to town or one of RMNP entrances. The cabin itself was equipped with everything we needed for our 2 night stay, including spices and seasonings for cooking with necessary utensils. They even had extra personal need items available if you forgot things such as toothbrush/paste or deodorant. They had a...

The cottage was cozy and backed right up to the river. It was nice sitting in the hot tub and listening to the river run! Great trails directly across the river!

Reviews sold me on trying this older style motel and they were right-on. From the time Emily checked us in until we left, it was a very enjoyable experience. The owners take a very hands on friendly pride in their property and it shows. The beautiful pine furniture and embroidered sheets were a homey touch. Enjoy your stay.

Amazing relaxing time with friends of all ages! Very very cute lil cabin. The house was perfect for 3 of us. Had plenty of extra bedding.

Clean and comfortable

Individual cabins with hammocks and barbecues.

Super cute, clean, perfect area. Will be staying again!

The staff was very hospitable. The breakfasts were prepared with care and very good. Our room was charming & comfortable. We would definitely come back again.
