“It was a nice hotel.”

“Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. ”

“It is a 2* hotel on a side of a fairly busy A road - one cannot expect a Savoy. It was clean, warm, the room quite large and comfortable, the staff kind and friendy, plenty of parking, easy distance to where we needed to be. Breakfast - a toast with jam or marmalade available by the reception. Included in the price of a £50 room I considered it a nice extra rather than breakfast I should rate for variety or quality. We’ll definitely be back!”

“The check in was easy and the team are friendly. My room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I ate in the evening and also had breakfast. Everything was tasty and well cooked. I would stay here again if in the area - the bar is very nice, oak beams and a good atmosphere.”

“We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were excellent, professional, friendly and welcoming. Special mention for the team in Harry’s Bar and Restaurant. They were all excellent and the food was delicious!! We took our Jack Russell puppy with us and were a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but from our experience this is a great hotel to take dogs. They’re welcome everywhere but the spa and all the staff made a fuss of him.”
