With the Rydges being only walking distance from the stadium it was the perfect location for a staycation. The hotel was humming with rugby fans and the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive as it got busier. The pool was great for a quick swim.

I payed $91.80 for valet parking for 2 nights and I checked my bank account and noticed they charged me twice, so I don't know what the reason was so i asked them about it and they said it was a mistake and it will bounce back into my account but it's been 3 days and it's still pending, but our 2 nights stay was very good and we enjoyed the leisure facilities and the buffet breakfast. Room was great very clean nice view of the bay. 2 night stay first night had dinner in restaurant the steak was great was tempting to have again the next night, menu is a bit limited. Our flight was cancelled and rebooked and so we found Rydges a convenient short stay accommodation centrally located in Wellington. The pool and spa was great, however the spa temperature was a bit too hot for us.
