“This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. “We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended.”

“Free Wi-Fi. Helpful & friendly staff. Good breakfast & plenty of options. Very hot week. A fan was provided & we were able to open the window however, the locals drinking outside were quite noisy & stayed after midnight a few nights. Popular for camper and as well. Ate supper there one evening & it was nice. The room was as expected, although could benefit from a freshen up. Reasonable prices & great location to use as a base to enable you to visit many places.”
