Great room, good location walking distance from the centre. Room was beautifully decorated, and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication and guestbook were excellent.

Last minute stay that was lovely. Would definitely stay here again. Apartment was large with everything you would require. Onsite parking included and easy walking distance into Bowness. We stayed in the Wordsworth which had its own front door and a patio area with seating which would be amazing when the weather is kinder

View from the room was phenomenal! The room was clean, and well equipped. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Easy self serve check-in, allocated onsite parking. And again, the view from the bed out the window is amazing. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely stay in The Ruskin room Good shower Fluffy towels Tea and coffee and cute bottle milk Just missing a few biscuits( cheeky) Single paned shash windows bit noisy/ cold in the bathroom/ bay window .Lovely scenery 4pm bit late for checking in and would like a 11am check out would be beneficial. Friendly staff and lovely cleaning lady (sorry didnt get your name) Keep up the good work! 👍

Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!

I cannot thank Craig and Del enough. Last minute booking for myself, my sister, and my dogs. Phenomenal communication and clarity of instructions, brilliant parking space and sign posting. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. Beds are comfortable, amenities are top notch- and I genuinely could not have been more stoked with what was a home away from home. I’ll be back in the autumn with the dogs for sure!

Our stay at Fair Rigg was wonderful! We had a lovely relaxing trip, walkable distance to the town but also very reasonable taxi fare into the centre in the evening. Very comfortable stay - lovely modern room and for a fantastic price, thanks again for making us feel so welcome!

I saw one spider inside the bedroom and threw it out , otherwise cleanliness was fine , under the bed and corners can be cleaned better. View wise from inside the room there was nothing

Suitable for a couple and feels as though a lot of thought has gone into the decor, appliances and information. However, it did not work for us as a family of three - one night was enough as the layout is such that someone ends up sleeping in the kitchen/diner and all social space is lost.

Luxury is suɓjective but no. Studio suite was small with no lake view. Arrived to find black sharp grit dog hair and dried dog food on floor and some grit and dog hair on bottom of the bed. Vacumn in entrance solved this. Black mould on glass and frame in bathroom due to single glazing on all windows was cleaned. Despite staying 3 nights owner was unable to replace the missing hair dryer in that time. Middle window curtain and underbench rubbish bin needs repairing. Parking on site and bed though small was good. We would not recomend this acxomodation.
