Being on the Cowlitz river and being to cross the road and walk up to it as well as the view from the gigantic balcony and outdoor couches made for a soothing stay. “The cabin was great! Extremely clean, organized and decor was so well done. We felt like special guests in beautiful home. My son and I were there to hike Ranier, so we spent most of our 2 days out on trails is above average heat, but the cabin's AC was great and was nice to come back to. Given the short trip, we didn't take advantage of all the amenities, but I did notice the outside grill was very clean and the view from deck was pretty. Packwood is also a great little town. “It’s like getting to stay at my parent’s property. It feels like a home. The kitchen worked well and was clean. We watched Netflix at night. The kids iPads worked. The river was close enough for the toddler to walk to. 10 out of 10. Would stay here again. ”
