“This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son. The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met. ”

We skied right out the front door, convenient ski lockers in basement every night. Loved the beautiful onsen, with a view out to the mountain and snow, fully appointed with toiletries. “High Accessibility The hotel is near the Yodanaka Station, it takes 5-10mins walk. If you will drive over there, the hotel will provide the free parking. Also, they were so nice to clean up the snow every morning. Also, it may take 15-20mins walk to the Shibu Onsen. For skiing, it can take 30mins driving to Shiga Kogen. “I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area. Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently.
